How not to count "move to parent directory" line in file count of rulerformat ?

Hi,

in a directory that has 5 files, the output of my rulerformat shows 6 files.

It counts the "move to current directory" (the arrow on the first line) as the first file.

Is there a way to have the output not count the move to parent directory in the file count?

Hello,

if the entry is there, it's always counted, but if you don't need it, you can use 'dotdirs' option to get rid of it:

set dotdirs=

Then it will appear only in empty directories.
