<c-a> and <c-u>

Question

What do <c-u> and <c-a> exactly do at the end of some keybinding in the default vifmrc? I didn't find anything about them in the manual.

It's in the docs for command-line mode:

Ctrl+U

remove characters from cursor position till beginning of the line.

Ctrl+A

go to start of the line
