Hi,

First of all, I recently discovered vifm and I'm amazed at its number of features. I started skimming the vimdoc last year and I only (more or less) finished it this year! :)

On to the question:
The way I understood is that I can make a bookmark by pressing m and then following it up with a lowercase/uppercase letter or number ([a-z][A-Z][0-9]). Though is it possible to add bookmarks that are not associated with such numbers/letters ?

If not, is there any other way that I can pass a list of files and/or directories into a menu similar to :marks ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Though is it possible to add bookmarks that are not associated with such numbers/letters ?

Yes, see :bmark command and :bmarks menu.

In this case it won't be just a list of paths, each entry needs to be associated with a named bookmark, but you can use some placeholder for that.

If you would like to make a bug report or feature request consider using GitHub, SourceForge or e-mail. Posting such things here is acceptable, but this is not a perfect place for them.
